What does your life look like when nobody's watching?
In this fourth session of our Sermon on the Mount series, we walk through Matthew 6:1-34, giving, prayer, fasting, and Jesus's teaching on money and worry. Every practice in this chapter runs the same test. Are you living this way because you actually believe God sees you, or because you're hoping someone else does?
We spend real time in the Lord's Prayer, sitting at the exact center of this sermon, and we look honestly at one of the hardest sayings in the whole passage: forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Righteousness is not the price of the ticket in. It is the shape of a life once it actually belongs to the kingdom Jesus is announcing.
