The Truth About the Truth

Pastor Bruce preaches on the difference between objective and subjective truth, using Jesus' trial before Pilate in John 18.

When Pilate asks Jesus "What is truth?", he raises a question every generation has to answer. Some people build their lives on objective truth: what God says, true no matter who you are. Others live by subjective truth: whatever feels right to them in the moment.

Pastor Bruce shows how this plays out in real decisions, from who we date to how we raise our kids to what we accept as normal. He points to Judges 2, where a new generation grew up not knowing the Lord or what he had done, and asks us not to be that generation.

The truth sets us free. But first we have to know it and live it, not just agree with it.
