Today
How is it possible to stand in worship, sing the right songs, and bow at the right moments — and still be far from God?
In Psalm 95, the congregation arrives at the threshold of God's presence, invited to sing and celebrate His greatness. But in the middle of their worship, God interrupts with a warning about hardened hearts. The danger isn't for those who have walked away; it's for those still coming, whose hearts may have quietly calcified through small, repeated choices to test rather than trust. Tonight we look at how hearts harden slowly, what a fully hardened heart looks like in the wilderness of Meribah, and the good news that Jesus is still standing at the feast saying to thirsty people: come and drink.
