I Have Found a Home in the House

Jun 3, 2026    Isaiah Huddleston

This sermon explores how a tragic family history does not have to define your future. In Numbers chapter 16, Korah led a rebellion against Moses and Aaron, which ended in immediate judgment. Yet, his sons chose a different path and separated themselves from the rebellion. Generations later, their descendants wrote Psalm chapter 84, singing about how even the small sparrow finds a home near the altars of God. They carried the name of Korah, but they found a new identity and a place to serve in the tabernacle.

God has a place of safety and rest for you today. You might feel defined by the mistakes of those who came before you, or you might feel like you are wandering without direction. This message reminds us that the house of God is a sanctuary where you can find strength and healing. You can leave the weight of your past behind and find refuge in His presence.
