Revelation Pt 33 The Song of Moses and the Lamb
In this verse-by-verse study of Revelation 15, we look at the pause before the final outpouring of God’s wrath. Standing between the seventh trumpet and the seven bowl judgments, this chapter reveals a heavenly sanctuary filled with smoke and glory. We explore the deep Old Testament roots of the "Song of Moses and the Lamb," connecting Israel’s deliverance at the Red Sea to the ultimate victory of the saints over the beast. This lesson highlights how God’s judgments are not random or petty, but are the righteous and true acts of a holy King who is finishing His work to set all things right.
We also examine the solemn reality of the temple being closed to entry until the seven plagues are completed. This scene emphasizes that while God is patient, his justice is certain and his holiness demands a final reckoning with sin. By looking at the "sea of glass mingled with fire" and the seven angels clothed in pure linen, we see that heaven does not apologize for God’s wrath. Instead, the redeemed respond with songs of praise because they trust in the character of the Almighty.
