Revelation Pt 39 Come Out Of Her

Apr 14, 2026    Isaiah Wilson

Revelation 18 shifts the focus from identifying Babylon to announcing her judgment. A mighty angel descends with such glory that the earth itself lights up, and his first words are a double declaration: "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great." In this message from Revelation 18:1–8, we look at how Babylon built her influence across nations, kings, and merchants, not through force, but through seduction. She offered wealth, comfort, and security, and the world drank it down without asking what it cost.

But before the judgment lands, God speaks directly to His people. "Come out of her, my people." That call is not about leaving society. It's about refusing to let Babylon define your values, your security, and your identity. Her sins have piled up to heaven, her pride has invited her own destruction, and what took generations to build will fall in a single hour. The question this passage puts to every believer is a simple one: How much of Babylon is still in you?
