Revelation Pt 42 From Silence to Hallelujah
The smoke of Babylon has risen. The merchants have catalogued their losses. The world stands at a distance and weeps. And then, there is only silence. But the silence does not last. In Revelation 19, the same fire and smoke that made the world mourn makes heaven erupt in a roar of worship. Four times, heaven shouts Hallelujah. Into that worship, the greatest announcement in history is made as the marriage of the Lamb arrives and His bride makes herself ready. Tonight we look at what it means to be the bride of the Lamb in a world that demands our worship. The Judge who rendered the verdict against Babylon is also the Bridegroom who remembers every act of faithfulness.
We will see how every quiet refusal to bow, every costly choice, and every moment of endurance is being woven into the wedding clothes of the church. The mourners lost everything, but the bride is about to gain the only joy that lasts. We will explore the meaning of the four Hallelujahs, why God’s justice is a cause for worship, the connection between the Passover Lamb and the marriage supper of the Lamb, how your righteous acts become your wedding attire, and why the testimony of Jesus is the center of all prophecy.
