Jesus Exalted

Jesus Exalted—that’s the heartbeat of this message. In Christ we are complete: our trespasses are forgiven, the record against us is nailed to His cross, and the principalities and powers are disarmed. The Father has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the Name above every name; every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. From His cradle to His cross to His crown, His supremacy shines—John leaped in the womb at Mary’s greeting, kings honored Him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and even winds and waves obeyed His voice. Jesus is not merely important; He is preeminent.

Following Jesus doesn’t promise a trouble‑free life, but it does promise a triumphant Savior. Don’t run from the church or the means of grace when pressure rises—that’s when you need the Word, worship, and the people of God. Like David facing Goliath, faith doesn’t borrow Saul’s armor; it runs toward the battle with what God has proven to work, and it finishes the fight—stone sunk, sword drawn, the giant’s head removed. All of this points to the greater David, Jesus Christ: at the cross He struck the decisive blow—“It is finished”—and at the empty tomb He lifted the enemy’s severed head for all to see. The risen Lord holds the keys of death and Hades; He holds the keys to your past, your present, and your future. If you’re weary or battling sin, take courage and turn to Him today. Jesus is exalted above your past, your fear, and every power of darkness—and in Him, you are complete.
