I'm Not Who I Used To Be

Pastor Bruce preaches from Philippians 3 and Isaiah 43 on what it means to leave the past behind.
Paul lists every reason he had to trust in his own credentials: his birth, his training, his standing under the law. Then he calls it all loss for the sake of knowing Christ. He isn't holding on to yesterday. He's pressing toward what's ahead.
In Isaiah 43, God reminds Israel how He brought them through the Red Sea. Then He tells them to stop looking back. He's doing something new: a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
The message is simple. You are not who you used to be. People will remember your failures and skip over your victories. God isn't finished with you. He's doing something new right now.
