Hebrews Pt 13

Oct 1, 2025    Seth Yancey

Tonight’s message continues our journey through Hebrews, slowing down in chapter 8 to savor the “main point”: we have a High Priest—Jesus—seated at the right hand of Majesty, ministering in the true tabernacle God pitched, not man. We explore how Christ offered Himself once for all—not as a Levitical priest, but as the Priest in the order of Melchizedek—mediating a better covenant built on better promises. The old system was a shadow; Jesus is the substance. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Walk with us through the contrast between law and grace, ritual and relationship, shadow and reality (2 Corinthians 3:6–18; Exodus 25–40; Colossians 2:14; Matthew 27:51). Discover what it means for God to write His laws on our minds and hearts, to have unhindered access to the throne of grace, and to be transformed “from glory to glory.” If you’ve been carrying guilt—striving to earn what Christ has already finished—this message invites you to come to Jesus, the One who sat down because the work is done, and experience the freedom, mercy, and new life of the New Covenant.
