Hebrews Pt 14 "One Time"

Oct 15, 2025    Dustin Losey

This message walks verse-by-verse through Hebrews 9:11–28 to show why Jesus is the superior High Priest and the once‑for‑all sacrifice who entered the greater tabernacle “not made with hands.” We contrast religion with relationship: the blood of bulls and goats could only cleanse externally, but Christ’s own blood secures eternal redemption and opens direct access to the Father. Along the way we unpack the “will and inheritance” analogy (a will takes effect at death), connect key scriptures—John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 10:12, and Leviticus 17:11—and celebrate the finished work of Christ, who sat down at the right hand of God because the sacrifice never needs repeating.

Because the veil is torn, we don’t wait on a priest or a perfect setting to meet with God—we enter the throne room anywhere, anytime. It’s time to move beyond four walls and borrowed faith, to pick up the call fully, share your testimony, encourage your leaders, and take “one step” toward Jesus—one time for God—with wholehearted worship, prayer, and obedience. If you don’t yet know Christ, the invitation is open; if you do but you’re weary, encourage yourself in the Lord and come boldly, because the inheritance has been secured and the way has been made.
