Hebrews Pt 7

Aug 13, 2025    Seth Yancey

This message walks through Hebrews 4:14–16, showing Jesus as our great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, sympathizes with our weaknesses, and invites us to draw near with confidence. It traces how Hebrews builds this theme from earlier chapters and contrasts the repeated Day-of-Atonement sacrifices with Christ’s once-for-all offering. Along the way it highlights Jesus as the second Adam whose obedience undoes Eden’s ruin, the Lamb of God who removes wrath, and the one Mediator who intercedes for us now.

The call is practical: hold fast your confession and come openly to the throne of grace, hiding nothing. Whether you’re facing the strain of school, work pressures, private temptations, or lingering guilt, Jesus knows what you face yet remains sinless and strong to save. His mercies are new every morning; approach Him to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
